Dr. Song is board certified in Acupuncture by the state of California, the state of Colorado.
Dr. Song is board certified in Acupuncture by the state of California, the state of Colorado and the NationalCertification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He is deeply committed to adapting to the evolving health challenges we face in these modern times by incorporating the latest scientific advancements in Oriental Medicine. This means his patients receive the most advanced care available of a traditional medicine with a rich clinical history of success.
Dr. Song also believes in applying an intensely customized approach for each of his patients. Some of Dr. Song’s specialties and clinical experiences include: neck and shoulder pain, back pain, sciatica, arthritis, knee and foot pain, sprains, multiple sclerosis, migraines, chronic internal illnesses, depression, stress management, and weight loss. Dr. Song helps his patients to simply adapt a better, healthier lifestyle.

Dr. Song earned his Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree.
Dr. Song earned his Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the South Baylo University at Los Angeles, California. This three-year program consists of 3,500 hours of education and 1,000 hours of clinical practice. He was certified as a L.Ac by the Acupuncture Board in the state of California and by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). This includes certification in Clean Needle Technique and Chinese Herbology.
He was also certified in Anatomy and Neurobiology from the University of California at Irvine. After graduating, he interned at the Kyunghee Oriental Medical Clinic and Sameui Acupuncture Clinic in Seoul, South Korea. He incorporates modern techniques that are anchored by tradition into his practice. He also uses very gentle and minimal needle techniques.
Dr. Song’s treatments include adjunctive therapies such as moxibustion, acupressure, cupping, auriculotherapy, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations. His customized approach is done through a Body Type analysis, a segment of Oriental Medicine that considers the natural born strengths and weaknesses of each organ.
